Torque Wrench Offset

Ok, have we heard enough debate over the torque setting adjustments that have to be made for an extension or an offset attachment?
If your like us, you've heard it all.
Now we can stop the debate and use the below formula if you're in a situation where it's that critical.

The following is the calculation you would use to determine the actual torque applied when using an extension such as a crowfoot.

T = Desired torque

L = Centerline of wrench handle to centerline of drive

E = Centerline of drive to centerline of extension device

Y = Unknown
